Though writer Anjum Rajabali insists that Shah Rukh Khan is very much a part of Rakesh Sharma biopic, 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha!', speculations about the superstar having walked out of the film are still rife. And Cine Blitz's latest report has only added credence to the rumours.
Shah Rukh is apparently keen to get 'Don 3' rolling. Since his last venture 'Zero', which also saw his character Bauaa Singh travel to space, proved to be a dud at the box office, SRK is in no mood to revisit the astronaut space.
The third installment of Farhan Akhtar's stylised crime drama is in the pre-production stage right now but it will definitely go on floors before 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha!'
Shah Rukh and Farhan have locked the script and even finalised the title of the film. As per CineBlitz, it will be called 'Don: The Final Chapter'. It will be the last film in the Don series [Don:The Chase Begins (2006) and Don 2 (2011)].
A source told the magazine, “Shah Rukh Khan and Excel Entertainment have finally locked on to the script. Don: The Final Chapter will be full of action and trickery. But it all ends! They thought it would be nice to give the franchise a great end, rather than dragging it. And hence, they’ve come up with a great climax that will have everyone stunned.”
However, Jungli Billi - Priyanka Chopra Jonas won't be a part of the film. The makers have locked on some actors but the lead actress is yet to be finalised. The report further suggests that they are keen on casting a new face. Reportedly, Farhan Akhtar will also be seen playing a crucial part in the film.
