Boney Kapoor slaps legal notice on 'Sridevi Bungalow'
outh sensation Priya Prakash Varrier is back in news but this time for something rather unpleasant. The 'wink girl', who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with 'Sridevi Bungalow', has landed in trouble.
Her film's trailer has come under fire for showing a female superstar's death in a bathtub. The last scene of the trailer is an eery reminder of how the legendary actress Sridevi passed away last year after accidentally drowning in a bathtub. Her death had left the entire nation devastated.
Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor has now sent a legal notice to the team. director Prasanth Mambully confirmed this to a portal and said, "We received a legal notice from Mr Boney Kapoor last week. And we will face it. My film is a suspense thriller. I told him (Boney Kapoor) that Sridevi is a common name. My film's character also happens to be an actress. We will face it (the legal case)."
